3| I’m in love with this guy’s story. He was diagnosed with Asperger’s late in life, a label which helped him appreciate his obsession with building adorable walkways and hideaways for his four pet cats.

Heard about the FU fund recently too! Love this idea. Good reason to not totally combine all finances with partners, or at least consider why the impulse is there to totally meld. I know it is for me and I think there’s weird heteronormative, co-dependent stuff there.

Great point. Having separate money accounts doesn’t mean you can’t support each other financially…but it does mean you’ll be capable of independence should the need arise!
