I was recently introduced to quite possibly the simplest, and most fun, personality test. It consists of only three questions, and the results were wildly accurate! If you want to play along, before you read about my answers and discoveries, answer these questions for yourself:
- What is your favorite color? Explain why with a couple sentences.
- What is your favorite animal? Explain why with a couple sentences.
- What is your favorite part of nature? Explain why with a couple sentences.
Don’t skimp on the explanations! That is the important part!
Okay, once you’ve got your answers….here’s what I said.
- Green, because it’s calming. It represents growth and healing and peacefulness. It’s natural and complementary with other colors.
- Cats, because they’re calming. They’re warm and cuddly and affectionate, but they’re also self-sufficient. I can leave them alone for long periods of time without worrying about how they’ll survive without me.
- Forests, because they’re calming. They feel like adventure and possibility. They are a little dangerous, but also beautiful.
[Side note: You are not supposed to have the same reason for all three answers, like I did with “it’s calming.” I can only assume this is a blaring signal alerting everyone to how much anxiety I must have in order to necessitate me needing so many calming things around me.]
Did you create your own answers? This is your last chance before I spoil everything and give away the secret!
Ready? Okay….
- What you think of your favorite color is what you think of yourself.
- What you think of your favorite animal is what you think of your preferred romantic partner.
- What you think of your favorite part of nature is what you think of God.
I was BLOWN AWAY by how accurate this twist made my answers. Restated, here’s what I said.
- I am calming. I create growth and healing and peace. I like being natural and authentic and relating well with others.
- I want to be with someone who is calming, warm, cuddly, and affectionate, and I want someone who can take care of themselves and be self-sufficient.
- I think God is calming, but also full of adventure and possibility. He can feel a little dangerous, but he’s also incredibly beautiful.
Yes, yes, and yes! I don’t know if I could have described these things better if I intentionally tried.
What about you? What were your answers, and were they accurate? Leave a comment and let me know!
That’s really interesting! My answers didn’t fit quite as well as yours –
Favourite colour: Dark purple – I don’t really know why, I just like it. I guess it’s a bit girly but not as much as pink, it’s not too bright, it’s a good colour for clothes and decorations etc
Favourite animal: Dolphins – because they’re so joyful and clever and they have their own language to communicate with each other and they live in community
Favourite part of nature: All of it, because it is God’s amazing creation and being able to experience it makes me think of the creator and feel closer to Him

Hah! Your nature answer intuitively included God already. As for color: you are subtly feminine, maybe? Or you like femininity, but you don’t want to be overly flashy with it? The animal question: are you attracted to guys who are good at communicating, who are clever and so fun to be around that he always has people around him?

Haha yeah, perhaps both of those things for colour. The animal one made the most sense to me (mostly the good communicators and clever part, being with someone who was constantly surrounded by people would drive me crazy because I really value individual/very small group time and deep conversations) 🙂

That makes sense! Hopefully even dolphins need some alone time. 😉

1. I love all colours really, I have a hard time just picking one thing. I guess I’d have to say purple, when it’s deep and dark and mysterious. It’s hard to find, rare naturally.
2. Dogs because they are so loyal, affectionate and fun. They are always down to play a game, go on an adventure or just cuddle. You can depend on them to love you no matter what.
3. I love everything about nature, but if I had to pick one thing – the sun. It’s so big and beautiful, sunrises, sunsets. It warms my skin, helps grow everything and brings light into my eyes to see. Or the trees, they are so big and majestic. So many different shapes and sizes, they make a beautiful sound in the wind that makes me feel at peace. I just feel so grounded when I am in the trees.
Now I just read the rest of your post… wow… that is so cool. I have to admit, it all fits.. cool, love this. Thank you! 🙂

Fav color: Blue(I am actually typing in blue lmao) The reason i love blue is because it looks beautiful, pretty & gorgeous almost in any shade & that it is cool, calm, relaxing, soothing, peaceful, serene & tranquil…(I really don’t believe that i am beautiful, pretty or gorgeous)
Fav animal: Wolf & certain breeds of dog, the reason i love them is because of their appearance & it’s actually accurate asf…
Fav nature: Any which is beautiful & eye appealing…

It’s an interesting quiz. My color has always been blue but the answer didn’t quite fit. I like blue because it’s the color of the ocean and the sky (and all its shades), it’s deep, mysterious and calming. I can;’t say I have a specific favorite animal, I like too many to choose one favorite but I will usually go between cats, dogs and canaries so I chose cats because it’s an animal I’ve cared for several times as well. I like them because they’re beautiful, cuddly, independent, free thinkers and mysterious. And I will agree that every part of nature is gorgeous, since it’s God’s creation after all, but I have a general preference for the element of the water, it’s always been my ‘go to’ part. In fact, I can’t imagine myself living at a place that has no water element, a river, a beach, a lake or a waterfall. I think I’d feel suffocated and claustrophobic.

My two favorite colors are pink and purple. Pink represents love. Purple is the highest form of energy that represents spirituality, the mysterious, and beauty.
My favorite animals are the ones that are small and tiny; they are extremely cute, loving, cuddling, and precious.
My favorite part of nature is being adventurous, curious, humble, affectionate, compassionate, and enthusiastic. I always love to live by the ocean where I can see the colors of the sunset, the dolphins, and the calmness of the winds. The night skies are always clear, where I can see the stars in the galaxy. Anything pertaining to nature is by far the most appealing to me.
I dislike living near towns, cities, or other buildings. It is unpleasing toward nature and the environment because there is sickness, disease, pollution, and other biological concerns. There are also social problems. People hate the conditions where it is overcrowded, insecure, and where pollution takes over. They often feel quite sad, lonely, and unhappy about themselves. Artificial intelligence is, by no means, the biggest blunder of life.

My favorite color is orange because it radiates warmth, and is the color of joy and sunshine. Orange is the color of happiness and offers emotional strength in difficult times. It helps us bounce back from disappointments and despair and is optimistic and uplifting in a way. It rejuvenates our spirit and assists in recovery from grief. It’s so happy and comforting.
My favorite animal is my dog, and also my horse. My dog loves me unconditionally, and is always there for me no matter what is going on in life. My horse is very much the same. Even though they both can have huge attitudes, they know when I need to lean on them, and they lovingly oblige. My dog has moved from house to house and state to state with me and never leaves my side. He has helped me through some of the darkest times of my life. He is always excited to see me when I come home, and is ready for any and all adventures at any time. He protects me in every way he knows how, and even stops the tears before they fall.
My favorite thing about nature is how it reminds me just how small I truly am, and how small my problems are. Nature grounds me. It is beautiful and light, but equally as dark and chaotic. I’m drawn to the ocean, it’s where I feel closest to God. It moves on its own time, it doesn’t care about my plans, or the problems I think I have. It just continues to flow, faithfully and without end it rolls onto the shore, and returns back home.
